The Kete-Krachi Divisional Police Command’s Anti-Robbery Unit has arrested two people for allegedly possessing Indian hemp.
The individuals, named John Dzeble, 34, and Adzobi Mesiwotso, 24, were arrested on June 15, 2025, during an operation based on intelligence.
Police stopped an Opel Astra with the registration number GT 6430-13, which was being driven by Dzeble, with Mesiwotso as a passenger.
When the vehicle was searched, officers found 86 compressed parcels containing what is believed to be Indian hemp. The drugs were hidden in different parts of the car, such as the engine bay, doors, and trunk.
