The Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions, have topped the number of applicants who have qualified for the next stage of the Citi FM and Channel One Literacy Challenge for the 2026 contest.
As much as 20 students have been selected for the Greater Accra Region while 17 qualified for the Ashanti Region. The Bono Region takes the spot for the least number of qualified applicants being 6.
In all, some 100 students across the country have been picked to compete for the next stage of the contest which commenced last month.
The top 100 have qualified for the written aptitude test department of the contest. The test is slated for Sunday, August 16 at the British Council at 12:30 in Accra.
