TIA KABIRU CRIES OVER BAWUMIA’S APPOINTMENT SNUB

Kabiru sheds tears over being left out of Bawumia’s team

Former NPP technical economic advisor and current Walewale MP, Dr Mahama Tia Kabiru, is feeling the pain after being snubbed by his former boss and now vice president, Dr Bawumia. Despite the exclusion from Dr Bawumia’s team currently in the UK, Dr Kabiru believes he could handle dual roles, much like Dr Boako who still supports Dr Bawumia while being an MP in Ahafo Region.

When questioned if Dr Bawumia has finalized his team, Dr Kabiru confirmed, stating, “Yes, I think some people have been submitted to the Office of the President as his aides…”. While many argued his exclusion was due to his MP responsibilities, Dr Kabiru pointed out Dr Boako’s dual commitment as a precedent.

Acknowledging his ability to manage both roles, Dr Kabiru highlighted the practicality of not drawing two salaries as an Article 71 Office Holder, clarifying, “You can combine both”. Speculations arose about the strained relationship between Dr Bawumia and Dr Kabiru during the election, leading to Dr Kabiru focusing on his parliamentary race. Despite the adversity, he powered through and eventually secured his place in the general election.
