10 arrested for cyber-related offenses at Weija

The Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), has detained 10 persons for activities related to cybercrime at Weija in the Greater Accra Region.

The detainees, which include nationals from China and Malaysia, are presently in police custody aiding in the investigations.

Items seized during the operation consist of more than 800 various mobile phones, several computers, and numerous charging devices. All items have been preserved for forensic examination to support the ongoing investigations.
