The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has been chosen as one of the national training centers for the Government of Ghana’s key Adwumawura Programme under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).
In announcing this news, the Executive Director of GNACOPS, Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, expressed his gratitude for the partnership, calling it a “major milestone” in the Council’s mission to make education a driving force for entrepreneurship, innovation, and national growth.
Mr. Gyetuah remarked, “This partnership signifies a new phase where education serves as a pathway to business creation and youth empowerment.”
He added, “With the Adwumawura Programme, GNACOPS will assist young Ghanaians in developing the entrepreneurial mindset, leadership abilities, and innovative skills necessary for job creation and sustainable business development.”
The official registration and orientation for participants started today at the GNACOPS National Secretariat. This training program will cover various modules focusing on business development and financial literacy, digital entrepreneurship and innovation management, marketing strategies, and leadership excellence.
Participants will also benefit from mentorship provided by experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts, aimed at turning their innovative ideas into successful and impactful businesses.
Reiterating GNACOPS’s dedication to national development, Mr. Gyetuah highlighted that the organization will keep supporting government initiatives to cultivate Ghana’s human resources and establish a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Together, we are creating a future where the youth of Ghana are not merely looking for jobs but are also becoming job creators, innovators, and agents of change,” he remarked.
“Let us keep working together, motivating one another, and constructing a nation fueled by knowledge, innovation, and opportunities.”
The Adwumawura Programme stands as one of NEIP’s key initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation among the youth throughout Ghana.
The inclusion of GNACOPS as a national training center highlights the crucial role that private educational institutions play in facilitating socio-economic change through skills development and enterprise education.
