United States (US) based Ghanaian online journalist, Ekow Kevin Taylor, has made light of the recent mud thrown at a flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ken Agyapong by fellow party members Samuel Atta Akyea., saying the same man he defended is now calling him a “mad man”.
Kevin who has been giving subtle support to the presidential ambition of Agyapong lately said even though he does not care about his dream to lead Ghana, it is intriguing how he is being attacked from the same NPP.
“I don’t give a shit about Kennedy and his stupid quest to lead the NPP, a party of fools but it’s funny how his own people are against him”, he has said.
Theformer Minister for Works and Housing, who has declared his unflinching support for the candidature of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, during a campaign days ago advised delegates against voting for the loudmouthed aspirant.
He spoke strongly against his temperament saying if the party and Ghanaians make the mistake and vote for him, he will bring nothing but shame to Ghana.
Recalling some of the unprintable words used by the candidate in the past, the former Minister said it will be dangerous to elect the former Assin Central constituency Member of Parliament (MP), because his character traits are far from presidential material.
Atta Akyea’s comment, condemned by Agyapong’s camp has tickled Kevin’s fancy. Reacting to the attack, he said his banter with Agyapong in the past stemmed from a $1.2 billion expose he did against the former Minister.
In a post with laughing emoji, the hard-hitting broadcaster recalled saying, Agyapong from nowhere jumped into the fraying at the time, defending Atta Akyea that he, Kevin was only peddling falsehood against the then minister.
“Ken Agyapong who was so much into his party came after me saying I was lying, calling my father and mother names. Saying my mother is a prostitute and I was born to a Lebanese.”
He said it was when he also responded in a strongly broadcast that their “unending beef” started. Their fight travelled so long that it ended in a law suit against Kevin in America but Agyapong was unsuccessful in his quest.
But in recent past, Kevin was seen supporting Ken\s campaign on his platform so some are surprised to hear him describe Ken’s presidential ambition as “stupid”.
Below is his unedited post
My beef with Kennedy Agyapong started when I did a 1.2 billion-dollar scandal Atta Kyea the then minister for works and housing I think.
Ken Agyapong who was so much into his Party came after me saying, I was lying calling my father and mother names.
Saying my mother is a prostitute and I was born to a Lebanese 😂
I responded harshly and that led to our unending beef
Today, the same Atta Kyea whom Kennedy was defending is out calling Kennedy a mad person 😂
I don’t give a shit about Kennedy and his stupid quest to lead the NPP a party of fools but it’s funny how his own people are against him
