President John Dramani Mahama, has paid a visit to former President John Agyekum Kufuor, at his Airport Residence in Accra.
The visit on Tuesday, December 30, was for him to extend best wishes of the season to his senior statesman and friend.
Photos of the visit have emerged online, warming many hearts. Many Ghanaians who have come across the photos have commended the President for looking beyond his political party and extending love to his opponent.
They also acknowledged his humility and love for humanity.
In a post, President shared copies of the photos saying “I paid a visit to President John Kufuor today to extend to him and his family the best wishes of the season”. He was accompanied by Presidential advisor and aide, Joyce Bawa Mogtari.
Some under the post rhetorically asked if the President will also visit his predecessor, Akufo-Addo.
