Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has issued a warning of potential legal action against online trolls and platforms disseminating false information regarding her and her family.
The actress expressed this warning on Monday in response to claims made by TikTok content creator and blogger, Eedie Bliss, who alleged that Mercy Johnson’s husband purchased a mansion for a mistress who became pregnant by him.
Eedie Bliss was released from custody on Saturday, January 17, 2026, after a public outcry.
Addressing the matter for the first time, Mercy Johnson, in a video posted on her Instagram account on Monday, remarked, “We have chosen to drop the charges against the individual in question due to the love and respect we hold for the many people who reached out.”
