Minister for Communication, Digital Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, has been called to the General Legal Council’s Call to the Bar ceremony, alongside several politically exposed individuals and media practitioners.
The Minister, who serves as Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram in the Greater Accra Region, graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law in the United Kingdom, after which he enrolled at the Ghana School of Law, Makola.

With this milestone, Sam George, as he is affectionately called, is now qualified to practise as a legal professional in Ghana.
The latest credential adds to his academic achievements, having previously earned a first degree in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Engineering) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Congratulatory Messages
Celebrating his feat online, Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurial Innovation Programme (NEIP), Eric Adjei, singled out Sam George for praise.

“Congratulations, big bro! A year ago today, you supported me as I celebrated my Call to the Bar, and today, it is your turn. We will be there to support you just as you supported me. May the Good Lord continue to guide, protect, and strengthen you, and may He lead you to greater heights of success. Wishing you all the very best, Big Bro,” Adjei posted.
MP for Ketu North, Edem Agbana, also shared in the joy of the new lawyers, posting images of the call ceremony alongside his congratulatory message:Congratulations to all newly called lawyers.
Being called to the Bar is a remarkable achievement, earned through years of sacrifice, discipline and hard work. Navigating legal education in Ghana is no easy feat, and this milestone deserves to be celebrated.
As you begin your journey, may you prosper at the Bar, uphold justice and integrity, defend the vulnerable, and serve Ghana with patriotism. May your success be measured not only by the cases you win, but by the justice you deliver and the lives you impact.
