The Good Governance Advocacy Group Ghana has formally appealed to the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) to launch a thorough investigation into the activities of the KEED/KGL Group.

The advocacy group alleges serious financial mismanagement, money laundering, tax fraud, and other grave offenses against the private entity.
In a petition dated June 10, 2025, and presented to EOCO on June 11, 2025, signed by their executive director Listowell Nana Kusi-Poku, the group raised concerns regarding the purported mishandling of funds received from the National Lottery Authority (NLA) by KEED/KGL Group.
Citing provisions under the Economic and Organized Crime Act, the group emphasized EOCO’s jurisdiction to probe and potentially prosecute cases involving financial or economic harm to the state or state-owned entities.
The advocacy group called for the recovery of ill-gotten gains, vigilance in detecting associated criminal activities, and preventive measures to curb such offenses. Furthermore, they urged cooperation with domestic and international agencies as required by law.
During a press conference at the Ghana Press Centre on June 11, 2025, the Good Governance Advocacy Group Ghana highlighted their stance on the National Lottery Authority situation, describing it as a scheme orchestrated under the former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Listowell Nana Kusi-Poku, the Executive Director of the group, accused the ex-president’s regime of facilitating the appropriation of public assets for personal gain, particularly in the NLA operations involving KGL.

He urged the Ministry of Finance to scrutinize KGL’s operations, branding it a criminal syndicate aimed at looting the country.
