Predicts NDC’s Internal Fights Will Start Sooner

Power-hungry Afenyo-Markin’s sinister plot against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been laid bare in a leaked video from a closed-door meeting with New Patriotic Party (NPP) members.
The scheming Minority Leader and Effutu MP, Alex Afenyo-Markin, didn’t hold back as he revealed his burning desire to boot the NDC out of power by 2028.
In the incriminating 1:43 video, Afenyo-Markin brazenly spouted false hope to disheartened NPP members, claiming that the NDC, led by President John Mahama, is destined for defeat in the next election cycle.
With a smirk of confidence, Afenyo-Markin predicted a grim future for the NDC, foreseeing internal strife, leadership challenges, and a rapid decline in voter support, especially in their supposed strongholds.
“The NDC will crumble from within. Mahama is a one-term wonder. Apathy will grip their base by 2028,” he gloated in the video, painting a bleak picture for the opposition party.
Notorious for his sensational claims, Afenyo-Markin previously stirred up controversy by alleging a clandestine scheme by the NDC to secure a third term for President Mahama. His wild accusations led to protests and accusations of judicial interference.
In a fiery address to NPP faithful, Afenyo-Markin doubled down on his predictions, emphasizing the low voter turnout he expects from NDC strongholds like the Volta and Greater Accra Regions.
“The Volta Region won’t show up to vote, just like the Ashanti Region did to us. Greater Accra’s support for the NDC will falter. We have the edge,” he declared with unwavering conviction.
Urging NPP unity and resilience, Afenyo-Markin dismissed any attempts by the NDC to sway the election with money or media influence, scoffing at their futile efforts.
“This is our time. No amount of bribery or propaganda can stop us. Stay strong, and victory will be ours,” he rallied his supporters, including the embattled Adenta Kumi, in a bid to boost morale after recent setbacks.
In a defiant display of confidence, Afenyo-Markin’s bold proclamations have set the stage for a fierce political battle leading up to the next general election, as the NDC braces for the storm of the NPP’s relentless ambitions.
