Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has scored his fourth goal six games into the 2025-2026 English Premier League season and has gone on to praise the character of AFC Bournemouth.
Semenyo scored the first of Bournemouth’s two goals in a 2-2 draw with Leeds United to improve his production to four goals and two assists in six league games.
Despite Semenyo’s goal scoring exploits, Bournemouth needed a late goal from Juniour Kroupi to clinch the equalizer.
Speaking to Bournemouth media after the tough game, Semenyo praised the team for digging out a win in a scrappy game.
“It was scrappy towards the end to be honest. We wanted to keep getting the ball into the box to cause them problems and it was tough today. We never gave up though.”

“The boys have got the character as they’ve proven so far this season, the desire to make things happen and keep going” Semenyo said.
Bournemouth rank fourth in the league after the draw; they take on Fulham next on Friday, October 3.
