A Nigerian man, name withheld, has been apprehended by the Ghana Police Service, after he kidnapped a Ghanaian young man, confined and held him in captive in his room for months. He is alleged to have subjected his victim to severe beatings and abuse during the period of confinement. According to reports, he was kept in his appointment for more than a month. His action was later uncovered and reported to the security agency, leading to his victim’s recue and subsequent arrest. The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has commenced an investigation into suspected corruption involving the diversion of 50 twenty-foot containers of palm oil valued at GH¢25.8 million. The Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has finally taken action on it errant health professionals who negligently looked on for a precious life to be lost.
