Back off on those power grabs; warns NPP’s Justin Kodua

NPP bigwig Mr. Justin Kodua Frimpong has sent a clear message to party peeps eyeing top spots: cool your jets and wait for the nod from above.
In a top-secret memo seen by The New Republic and bearing the signature of the General Secretary, it spells out a stern reminder: ‘No champ can hustle party honchos until official nominations are a go – hands off the button-pushing and back-scratching.’
Mr. Frimpong laid down the law, pointing out that this rule squares up with the party’s drive for a fair shake in its internal elections. Any early birds trying to swoop in could upend the party’s apple cart and mess with plans for the 2028 showdown.
“We need everyone to play it cool, follow the rules, and keep the faith in the party’s push for a brighter future,” he urged.
He put the spotlight on the party’s pledge to openness, fairness, and doing things by the book, promising a heads-up on all the ins and outs once the green light for nominations is lit.
