The usually bustling border town of Aflao was thrown into an even electrifying atmosphere of song, prayer and unrestrained celebration as hundreds of worshippers thronged the Kekeli School Premises, venue of the “Break the Fallow Ground Through Praise and Worship Festival,” on April 2, 2026, turning the atmosphere into a powerful spiritual revival.
In what many described as a heaven-touching encounter, the festival drew believers from across Aflao and neighbouring communities, with the air charged by thunderous praises, heartfelt worship and fervent declarations of faith.

From the moment the event opened, the grounds erupted with soul-lifting gospel music, rhythmic clapping and spontaneous dancing as worshippers lifted their voices in what was seen as a call for divine intervention and breakthrough.
The event, which lasted several hours, featured spirited ministrations by renowned gospel singers, and anointed worship leaders, including guest artist, Nigerian singer and minister, Princess Oluchi Okeke and young Nigerian saxophonist, Ezekiel, whose performances kept the crowd on their feet.

The atmosphere reached fever pitch as the worshippers joined in songs of thanksgiving, with many seen shedding tears, kneeling in prayer and lifting their hands in surrender.
Speaking at the festival, the host minister, Prophetess Florence Anyama, a renowned Nigerian preacher and songstress, charged participants to “break every hardened ground in their lives through praise and worship, noting that just as fallow land must be tilled before it can yield fruit, so must believers prepare their hearts for blessings through sincere worship and unwavering faith.

“Some breakthroughs do not come by might, but through heartfelt praise that moves the heavens,” she declared to loud cheers from the crowd.
The message resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom testified to personal struggles, hopes and expectations they had brought before God.
Several worshippers described the event as a life-changing experience.
“This is more than a festival; it is a spiritual awakening for Aflao,” one participant said amid tears of joy.

Another attendee said the event had renewed hope in the community, stressing that the gathering had united people from different churches and backgrounds in one purpose — seeking divine direction and restoration.
Residents in the area said the sounds of worship echoed throughout the town, creating what many called a rare atmosphere of peace and divine presence.
Organisers of the festival, Christ For Races Int’l Ministries, collaborating with Kekeli School, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout and pledged to make the programme an annual event aimed at fostering unity, revival and moral renewal in the municipality.

As the final songs rang out and prayers were offered for the nation, many left the grounds convinced that something extraordinary had been ignited in Aflao — a spark of faith, powerful enough to transform lives and communities.
For many, the event was not just another christian programme, but a clarion call to break the fallow ground of despair, stagnation and hopelessness through the power of praise and worship.
