The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has once again demonstrated his big heart by reaching out to the Muslim community with a magnificent donation to support the upcoming Eid ul-Fitr celebrations.
As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, Mr Debrah generously provided bags of rice, cooking oil, bottles of water and cash to several mosques across the capital, ensuring that our Muslim brothers and sisters can mark the festival in grand style.
The beneficiary mosques include the Masjid Abdallah at North Kaneshie, the popular Madina Central Mosque, Masalachi Kaado at Nima, Kissehman Mosque, and the Islamic Research Centre also at Nima.
Speaking about the kind-hearted initiative, Alhaji Abdullahi Issa Monnie, Media Coordinator for the project, revealed that the Chief of Staff understands the true meaning of Ramadan.

“Mr Debrah firmly believes that Ramadan is a time for deep reflection, sacrifice and giving to others,” Alhaji Monnie said. “He felt it was only proper to show love and support to our Muslim brothers and sisters during this blessed month when they are fasting and praying for the peace and prosperity of our dear nation.”
The gesture, he explained, forms part of efforts to promote the spirit of unity, compassion and togetherness that Ghanaians are known for worldwide.

At the various mosques, excited leaders could not hide their joy as they received the items, praising the Chief of Staff for remembering them at such an important time.
They noted that the provisions would go a long way to support needy members of their congregations who might otherwise struggle to celebrate Eid properly.
“This generous support will ensure that everyone, including the less privileged among us, can have a meaningful and peaceful Eid celebration,” one grateful mosque leader said.
