Fadi Dabbousi ‘Tells It All’ As He Labels Akufo-Addo ‘Bigot’ For Using And Dumping Him; Applauds JM For Appointing Obroni As Ambassador

The appointment of Ghanaian-South Korean, Kojo Choi, has rattled feathers compelling a fierce critic of President John Dramani Mahama, to confess his admiration for him.

Fadi Samih Davvousi, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and close associate of former president Akufo-Addo, especially during his opposition days, has expressed amazement at the choice of Kojo Choi by the president to South Korea.

In his view, the the decision was a well thought through one and worth applauding, considering that, against all odds, the president opted for someone his predecessor would have declined to appoint.

“I congratulate Mr Choi on his appointment as Ambassador designate to South Korea. Thank you John Dramani Mahama for showing that you are not a bigot”, Fadi has said.

For an individual who was born and bred but traces his background from Lebanon, Fadi is elated that for once someone with a similar history has been recognized a government.

In a rare congratulatory message posted on his social media page, Facebook, Fadi used the opportunity to tell his own story and how his onetime buddy and his party used and dumped simply because of his background.

According to him, having done all the work in opposition leading to him being arrested by the Immigration Service office, then Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) now National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) and kept him in their cells because of the allegations he heaped on the then president Mahama and his government.

Fadi, who is a writer, between 2012 and 20216 recall was very harsh and blunt and did not care about the consequences of his actions, so long as it put the NDC and Mahama in bad light and in good position for the NPP until the opposition then gained power in 2016 after a fierce general election.

Unknown to many, Fadi said he was penciled down for an ambassadorial appointment but after informing him, plans changed with an excuse from the former president, a man he referred to as his “icon” that, he was no longer going to get it after all because Ghanaians were not going to be in support of it.

Like a joke, the appointment was taken from him with a promise to find a way out.

“Then he asked for another 2 weeks to sort out the issue. There and then, I opted out and told him that I was no longer interested.

Even though he did not state it, but it looks like this is what made him distance himself totally from the government for the 8 years it lasted. In the piece. Fadi said in 2017, he was driven out of the Flagstaff House in an “undignified manner”.

“I will leave it here and discuss the undignified manner with which an attempt at sacking me from Jubilee House was orchestrated in February 2017. I will mention names and times and events and things that amazed the devil”, he said.

I congratulate Mr Choi on his appointment as Ambassador designate to South Korea. Thank you John Dramani Mahama for showing that you are not a bigot.

I was born and bred in Ghana. My father migrated to this beautiful country in 1949. Since then he never looked back. So, I grew up as a child with a lot of energy and rambunctiousness. My love for justice and mercy swelled and swirled in my very sinews. Gradually, that led me to the sanctuary of the elephant where I made many friends and enemies, too.

To make a long story short, my icon became Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I fought for him (and the Npp) a battle very few could have dared step forward to participate in. I slept in prison twice; in January 2013 in an immigration cell at Dzorwulu, and in September 2016 at the BNI (NIB) headquarters at Ridge (C2), the same cell that Nana Addo slept in in 1983.

I wrote books and published the infamous “RED BOOK”, which I released in the run-up to the 2016 elections. ALLAH made our victory possible, and we assumed power.

The details will be in my upcoming book.  Nonetheless, when the appointments were being made, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo appointed me as “Presidential Envoy to the Middle East on Investment”. He specifically told me that my letter would be ready in a fortnight. So I left Jubilee House late that night content that the President was not a bigot.

Two weeks later, when I went to him, he said, “Fadi, there is slight problem with this appointment, so please give me another fortnight!” And so it was, but when I showed up the next time, he sat me down and informed me that there was a serious opposition to my appointment. The argument of the narcissist bigots was that I am white and of Lebanese origins and giving me an appointment would incur the ire of Ghanaians risking the 2020 general elections. I went pale (eiish, when white people become pale, they turn yellow 😅😅😂). I quizzed him on his thoughts and he told me that he had an argument with them regarding my brutal campaign initiatives and the dangerous maneuvers that I took upon myself to ensure victory. Their advice was resolute.

The he asked for another 2 weeks to sort out the issue. There and then, I opted out and told him that I was no longer interested.

I will leave it here and discuss the undignified manner with which an attempt at sacking me from Jubilee House was orchestrated in February 2017. I will mention names and times and events and things that amazed the devil.

You will have to buy my book to read all that, though.

I love Ghana!
