Tano North MP, Dr. Gideon Boako, has made a significant move to bring together the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tano North Constituency after the recent presidential primaries.
In a statement on his Facebook page today, he mentioned that he welcomed important stakeholders to his home for a meeting aimed at reconciliation, gathering coordinators from all five candidates.
“Yesterday, I welcomed key stakeholders at my home, including the coordinators for all five candidates from the recent presidential elections,” Dr. Boako stated.
“We united as members of the New Patriotic Party in the Tano North Constituency for a reconciliatory meeting, and we have agreed to put aside our individual preferences from the contest.”
Dr. Boako highlighted that although Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was chosen as the party’s flagbearer, the true winner is the NPP as a whole.
“The contest has concluded, and our greater mission now begins. It is time to unite, heal any divisions, and focus our collective efforts on achieving victory in 2028,” he added.
He also expressed heartfelt thanks to party elders, patrons, clergy, and campaign coordinators for their support and dedication to unity.
“I want to sincerely thank the Council of Elders, the Council of Patrons, our respected Men of God, current and former executives, the campaign Coordinators of all five candidates, and everyone who took the time to attend. Your wisdom, guidance, prayers, and steadfast commitment to the unity and progress of our Party are greatly valued,” he said.
In closing, Dr. Boako emphasized the need for a shared purpose for the party’s success.
“Unity is our greatest strength. With one goal, one direction, and a shared commitment, we will move forward determined, focused, and ready to restore our Party to power,” he concluded.
