The Last Trumpet Movement (LTM), a faith-based initiative focused on spiritual restoration and reconnection with African ancestral heritage, has been officially launched in Accra with a call on Africans in the diaspora and at home to “arise and shine” and return to their roots.
Delivering the welcome address at the media launch, Founder of the movement, Omanyah Shaddai, said the Last Trumpet Movement was born out of divine revelation and concern about growing global socio-economic decay, conflicts, pandemics and increasing uncertainty in the world.
According to him, the movement represents a divine wake-up call for African-edenic people, particularly Hebrew Israelites, to reconnect with the motherland in what he described as a season of spiritual return and restoration.

“This is basically a blaring wake-up call for our people to return, or it may be too late very soon to leave,” he stated.
Mr. Shaddai explained that one unique feature of the Last Trumpet Movement is its inclusion of sacred visitation to the Temple of World Peace, also known as Onyakuponfie, which he described as a place of deep spiritual encounter, inner peace and divine favour.
He noted that participants from around the world who have visited the temple have shared remarkable testimonies of spiritual awakening, healing and renewed connection with their ancestry.
The LTM 2026 programme, he said, will provide opportunities for people of African descent to reconnect with the continent on a quarterly basis, aimed at restoring true African spirituality and cultural identity.
Mr. Shaddai clarified that the Temple of World Peace is neither a church nor a mosque, but what he described as the Third Temple of the Most High God, where people can experience the true presence and favour of God.
He encouraged Ghanaians and residents in Ghana to visit the Temple of World Peace or participate in the Ogyebea Festival to experience the spiritual significance of the movement firsthand.
He further noted that Ghana has a special spiritual role to play in the global restoration of African people, adding that the country has been divinely chosen for this purpose.
The media launch attracted religious leaders, cultural practitioners, invited guests and members of the press, marking the formal introduction of the Last Trumpet Movement to the public.
The Last Trumpet Movement Foundation says it is committed to promoting spiritual awakening, cultural restoration and global unity among people of African descent.
