Ministry of Communication Launches One Million Coders Flagship Programme

The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, has officially rolled out the One Million Coders flagship programme under the leadership of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The One Million Coders initiative is a key component of the NDC’s manifesto promises, reflecting the party’s commitment to fulfilling its objectives and providing tangible opportunities for the youth.

This ambitious project aims to equip the next generation of Ghanaians with essential digital skills and knowledge that are vital for thriving in the evolving global job market.

The Ghanaian government’s One Million Coders initiative is designed to empower the youth by offering them the skills of the future.

The pilot phase of the One Million Coders programme is currently underway in four key locations across the country: Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani, and Bolgatanga.

The programme will cover a diverse range of specialized courses aimed at equipping individuals with highly sought-after skills in the tech industry. The courses, include Certified Cybersecurity Professional, Certified Network Support Technicians, Data Analyst Associate, Certified Data Protection Manager, Certified Data Protection Professional, Certified Data Protection Expert, and Certified Data Protection Officer

Samuel Nartey George, the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, took to his social media platform, to encourage Ghanaians to take fulladvantage of the One Million Coders programme.
