Reverend Ntim Fordjour is under fire from NACOC’s Deputy Director-General, Alexander Twum Barimah, who vehemently denies the recent cocaine allegations made by the Reverend.
In a fiery TV3 interview on Saturday, April 26, 2025, Barimah branded Fordjour’s claims as “palpable lies” and demanded they be treated with the utter contempt they deserve. Standing his ground, Barimah asserted that no illegal substances were found during the security screening of the allegedly suspect flights.
Describing his firsthand experience during the inspection, Barimah proudly declared, “I was there that day. Nothing happened. I have pictures of the very flight in question.” He emphasized the rigorous screening process conducted, which included the deployment of K9 dogs, all of which yielded negative results for narcotics.
The collaborative effort involved various agencies, with Barimah noting the involvement of Aviation Security, Customs, National Security, and the NIB/BNI in the meticulous search operation. He even recounted his shock upon hearing Fordjour’s allegations, citing the evidence he was able to offer from the inspection day.
In conclusion, Barimah cautioned Rev. Fordjour, labeling him as a “junior brother,” to approach sensitive information with care, warning of the potential pitfalls of acting on emotions rather than facts.
