…as government kicks Anti-Narcotics Operation in action
The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) launched a successful operation targeting illegal drug activities in the Madina Market and Redco flat areas.
The crackdown, aimed at apprehending individuals involved in trading Red and other narcotics, resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of illicit substances.
During the operation, law enforcement officials raided various locations, uncovering hidden bunkers used for illegal activities. Multiple suspects were detained, and thorough searches of the premises were conducted.
Among the items confiscated were numerous packages of local and foreign cannabis, a cocaine-heroin mixture, Tima King 250, and cannabis-laced candies. The illicit substances seized serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse.
In a separate location at Madina New Station, suspects attempted to flee upon the arrival of the enforcement team. Despite the suspects’ escape, law enforcement officers discovered additional packages of both local and foreign marijuana in their abandoned tents.
The successful operation led to the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of various illegal substances, highlighting the commitment of NACOC to combatting drug-related crimes in the region.
The crackdown serves as a reminder of the ongoing battle against narcotics trade and the importance of collaborative efforts to eradicate drug-related activities within communities.
