The Energy Commission Board has met with the staff of the organization to fraternize with them on Friday October 3, 2025.
The Commission inaugurated recently was led by its chairman Professor John Gatsi, a lecturer of many years at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region.
The maiden meeting was first to formally introduce members of the Board to the staff and also make the vision for the Commission.
The engagement touched on areas of staff welfare and capacity building, asset management and financial soundness, maintaining corporate discipline and harmonious working environment, establishment of selected regional offices.
It was also heavy on visibility for the Commission’s work, as well as challenges confronting the effective delivery of its legal mandate under Act 541, and strategies to mitigate such difficulties.
Before bringing the meeting to an end, the Board pledged it utmost support to the staff in order to meet its core mandate as a regulator.
