The Attorney General, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has dropped all charges against Mildred Donkor, the third accused in the trial of former National Signals Bureau (NSB) Director-General Kwabena Adu-Boahene, after she agreed to testify for the prosecution.
A notice filed at the High Court in Accra on October 15, 2025, and signed by Deputy Attorney General Dr. Justice Srem-Sai, stated that Ms. Donkor has been discharged under Section 59 of Act 30 and will now appear as a prosecution witness against Mr. Adu-Boahene, Angela Adjei Boateng (2nd accused), and Advantage Solutions Limited (4th accused).
In her witness statement, Ms. Donkor said she met the first and second accused through the Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God Church and was made a director of Advantage Solutions Limited at Mr. Adu-Boahene’s request.
She, however, claimed she had no control in the company and acted only on their instructions.
She revealed that she handled several financial transactions, including cash withdrawals ranging from GH¢2,000 to GH¢1 million, using pre-signed cheques provided by the two. She said the withdrawn money was usually handed to Mr. Adu-Boahene, Ms. Boateng, or Madam Margaret Aba Donkor, mother of the former NSB boss.
Ms. Donkor also cited a transaction where GH¢2.5 million was transferred from BNC Communications Bureau Limited to I-ZAR Limited on April 29, 2020, under Adu-Boahene’s instruction.
She emphasized that she was never formally employed by Advantage Solutions Limited and only acted on ad hoc directives from the main accused persons.
