TORKONOO IN TEARS: …Begs for luxury treatment @ corruption probe

By Philip Antoh

Suspended Chief Justice, Gertrude Araba Torkonoo, has unleashed a flood of tears akin to a weeping infant, pleading for special treatment and luxuries at her ongoing Committee hearing. The suspended Chief Justice, known for cozying up to family members and pals with lucrative contracts, now cries foul at being relocated from the Court Complex to Osu Castle.
According to Torkonoo, the shift is a deliberate ploy to cause her mental distress and undermine her rights, all while she demands the royal treatment of a top-notch hotel stay, surrounded by loved ones.
Despite leaked confidential documents and alleged shady dealings, Torkonoo jabs at the Committee, claiming constitutional violations and a kangaroo court-style process aimed at dethroning her from her chief status.

She’s now taken legal action, seeking an injunction to prevent the proceedings at Osu Castle, in hopes of turning the hearing room into a family affair filled with comforts and privileges.
In a dramatic turn, Torkonoo’s lawyer paints a picture of injustice and degrading treatment, decrying the search of her body, denial of technology access, and the high-security setup at the Castle, which she labels as torture.

The suspended Chief Justice makes a last-ditch effort to sway the court in her favor, arguing that the whole spectacle is a charade veiled in justice but intent on ousting her unlawfully.
