The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, is set to deliver a keynote address at the upcoming Volta Water and Sanitation Dialogue on the 24th of August, 2025. The event is organized by the Community Focus Foundation Ghana (CFF-Ghana) and is being held at Stevens Hotel in Ho.
Themed “Building resilient water and sanitation systems in the Volta Region; the role of relevant stakeholders,” the dialogue aims to bring together various stakeholders, including government departments, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), community leaders, and development partners. The goal is to identify specific challenges, opportunities, and innovative solutions for enhancing sustainable water and sanitation service delivery in the Volta Region.
This interactive platform will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions on the water and sanitation issues prevalent in the region. The Regional Minister is expected to share insights on these issues and solicit inputs from participants, including sector actors. The ultimate objective is to collaboratively devise sustainable solutions that align with the government’s reset agenda in addressing the pressing water and sanitation challenges in the Volta Region.
The dialogue is part of broader efforts to tackle water and sanitation issues in the region, and the Minister’s participation underscores the government’s commitment to finding practical and lasting solutions to these critical challenges.
