A high-powered government delegation led by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, and leadership of Parliament joined the Keta MP Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey to lay his late mother to rest on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
The funeral of the late Presbyter, Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah, took place at Anlo-Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region amid the presence of ministers, traditional leaders, church members and other dignitaries.

First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor; 2nd Deputy Speaker, Andrew Asiamah Amoako; Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga; Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwame Dafeamekpor, and MPs from both sides of the House were present.

Regional Delegations were led by the Voltage Regional Minister, James Gunu.
The late Presbyter Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah went home at the age of 76 after a short illness.
She left behind five children, Enyonam, Lambert, Holy, Nyatefe, and Hon. Dzidzorli Kwame Gakpey.
