A new development has emerged in the death of Kwame Nkrumah Circle phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Dinero or Terry, who was reportedly killed in Teshie a suburb of Accra.
A man identified in reports as Phil (Philip Tefe) has been linked to the incident.
According to the reports, Phil — described as a regular churchgoer — drove the deceased’s car to church on the Sunday following the incident.
The reports further suggest that the incident may have been triggered by a personal dispute involving a woman, who is also currently in the grips of the Police assisting with investigations.
However, the exact circumstances and motive have not been officially confirmed by authorities.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Dinero’s death and the alleged involvement of persons connected to the case.
News of the incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning how a human life could be taken over a romantic dispute.
The police are yet to release further details as investigations continue.
