Ghana, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has strongly condemned the unilateral use of force and unauthorised military invasion of Venezuela by the United States (US). The invasion reportedly resulted in the abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, by US forces and removed from the country, in the early hours of Saturday, 3rd January, 2026.
