Chief of Staff to President John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Julius Debrah, has reiterated the government’s resolve to empower women-led enterprises and advance inclusive economic growth, following his address at the opening ceremony of the 11th Ghana Female CEO Summit in Accra.
In a statement issued after the event, Hon. Debrah described the Summit as a vital platform that continues to illuminate the indispensable role women play in strengthening institutions, stabilizing communities, and fortifying the nation’s economic resilience.
Addressing a distinguished assembly of women leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders, he emphasized that Ghanaian women are no longer merely participating in commerce and enterprise — they are increasingly becoming the bedrock of economic activity across multiple sectors.
“The government of President John Dramani Mahama remains focused on creating an enabling environment that allows women-led enterprises to grow, scale up, and compete effectively on the global stage,” he stated.
Hon. Debrah affirmed that the administration is committed to cultivating an economy that rewards hard work and innovation while expanding opportunities for all citizens, with particular emphasis on women and young entrepreneurs.
“On behalf of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, I reaffirm Government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment where women-led enterprises can thrive, scale, and compete globally,” he said.
Reflecting on the deliberations at the Summit, the Chief of Staff expressed optimism about Ghana’s trajectory, noting that the discussions left him confident that the country’s “best days are ahead.”
He called for a collective national effort to build a Ghana where opportunities are accessible to all, regardless of background, and where young women are inspired to pursue leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship with conviction.
The 11th Ghana Female CEO Summit convened influential women leaders, business executives, policymakers, and stakeholders to chart strategies for advancing women’s leadership, enterprise development, and inclusive economic transformation in Ghana.
