Unknown to many, former Chief Justice (CJ) Sophia Akuffo was apparently the girlfriend of father of hiplife legend Reggie Osei, famously known as Reggie Rockstone.
The rapper, in a recent interview disclosed this revealing that, he had and still has a strong relationship with Justice Akuffo because she was one of the women who raised him.
This happened because according to Reggie, the now Council of State member was a companion to his father, Saint Osei (Ricky) of blessed memory.
In all, Reggie said three (3) women raised him at different times.
Born in the United Kingdom (UK) over five decades ago, the hiplife grandpapa said this was due to the fact that his parents’ marriage collapsed very early.
As a result, his mother, Justice Akuffo and one woman he referred to as Mom Milly raised him. Even though his father and the former CJ did not marry, he called her his stepmother.
“Three women raised me. They are my mother, Mom Millie and Mom Sophia, the former Chief Justice of Ghana. Mom Sophia is my stepmother.
She and my father were not married, but they cohabited for a while. She literally helped raise me, and we have a very strong relationship”, he said in an interview on The Delay’s show hosted by Deloris Frimpong Manso.
He continued “My mother and father broke up when I was very young. I was a child. I was with my mom for maybe seven years. I was their only child for many years. Even my oldest child is older than my siblings”.
Delving deep into how he landed in Ghana for the first time, Reggie said his mother told him they were coming for holidays.
“My mom told me we were coming for holidays and that’s how I came to Ghana. Around that time, they hadn’t broken up, but the marriage wasn’t as good as expected. Based on how my father’s life was at the time, she advised herself and brought me to Ghana”.
His father was the legendary Saint Osei (Ricky). He was a very successful fashion fashion designer. “ I was born into an artistic family. Ricky made money when my mom left with me to Ghana because he moved to America. And later, when he made it, he came for me. He came for me because he had made it, and I was his first son”.
The rapper and entrepreneur while continuing the interview had a pleasant surprise as his first girlfriend who he attended Soul Clinic International School together with walked in from nowhere. According to him, it was Becky who he had his first kiss with.
