Police Arrest Mohammed Adjiri with 120 Slaps of Narcotic Drugs

The National Highway Patrol Unit of the Ghana Police Service, through a special intelligence operation, has arrested suspect Ernest Mohamed Adjiri for the unlawful possession of narcotic drugs in the Greater Accra Region.

The operation, carried out by a team of Police officers, led to the retrieval of 120 slabs of compressed dried leaves suspected to be narcotic drugs, concealed in three fertilizer sacks on board a Hyundai i10 taxicab with registration number GW 9832-22.

The suspect during interrogation admitted ownership of the items and will be put before the court soon.
