The Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), a registered Ghanaian NGO, is proud to announce its 15th Anniversary Fundraising Gala. The event will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, to celebrate 15 years of dedicated work in transforming the lives of street-connected children and championing their right to education and protection.
Founded in 2010, SCEF has become a pillar of hope and advocacy, working tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate vulnerable children into society.
The fundraising gala, themed “Celebrating 15 years of Impact: Resilience, Empowerment & Future,” will highlight the Foundation’s significant achievements over the past decade and a half.
SCEF’s legacy is reflected in its numbers: the Foundation has impacted over 1.7 million individuals, reached over 4.6 million people through media advocacy, and supported 336 single-parent families through economic empowerment programs.
The event will showcase the continued importance of education, culture, and empowerment for young people, with a special keynote address by the SCEF Children’s Parliament.
The evening will feature performances from some of Ghana’s most talented artists, including Lynx Entertainment’s DSL Music, known for his reggae-infused Afro-Dancehall, and the dynamic Afro-fusion duo Lali X Lola. Attendees will also be entertained by performances from ChaleVibez and the Accra Dances Movement, celebrating the rich culture and talent cultivated through SCEF’s music and dance programs.
Proceeds from the gala will be used to further SCEF’s mission of creating a future where all children, regardless of their circumstances, have equal opportunities to reach their full potential.
