A report filed by The1957News has revealed exclusive footage showing some alleged National Security officers assaulting staff of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition.
The disturbing incident is said to have occurred at Kasoa Amanfrom on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026.
According to an eyewitness account, some staff of the Ministry, while traveling from Kasoa to the office on board an official bus, came across a pickup truck parked very close to the middle of the road, making it difficult for the Ministry’s staff bus to exit into the main road.
Upon the bus exiting into the main road, a staff member on board the bus informed the driver of the pickup that he had parked wrongly. When the bus moved, the pickup allegedly followed and crossed the Ministry’s bus at top speed.
The driver of the bus maneuvered but was crossed a second time.
The video from the incident shows the occupants of the pickup truck, who are alleged to be National Security officers, attacking some members of the Ministry through the window of the bus.
They are then seen forcing their way onto the bus and assaulting occupants of the bus. Shouts by some staff by some of the Ministry’s staff for their attackers to stop went unheeded. Of course, the staff did not sit unconcerned as they also returned some of the punches.
According to a source at the Energy Ministry, the alleged National Security officers, after assaulting three persons on the bus, including the driver, dragged one staff member off the bus.
The whereabouts of the staff member who was taken away is currently unknown.
