The family of Ivan Baidoo, a Level 200 law student at Central University and Quaque House Prefect for Santa 2024 (Adisadel College), is appealing to the public for information following his tragic death on the Tema Motorway.
According to accounts from family members, Ivan and a motorbike rider were allegedly chased by a police officer from the UPSA traffic light all the way to the motorway.
The officer is alleged to have kicked them off the bike near the highway, throwing them into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver involved reportedly fled the scene without rendering aid, making the incident a fatal hit-and-run.
A reward of GH¢50,000 is being offered for credible information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of those responsible for the fatal accident on the Tema Motorway on August 27.
