The Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua is appealing to the public to help trace the family of a patient identified as Frank Ampadu, who is currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Male Surgical Ward.
According to the hospital, Ampadu was admitted on September 22, 2026, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., after being transferred from the Adult Triage.
The hospital says the patient is currently disoriented and unable to provide information about his hometown or identify his relatives, making it difficult to establish contact with his family.
The hospital is therefore calling on members of the public who recognise Mr Ampadu or have information about his family or place of origin to assist in tracing his relatives.
Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the hospital administration or visit the Male Surgical Ward to help reunite him with his loved ones.
The public can reach the hospital on 0342023011 or 0342023021.
The hospital is urging the public to share the appeal widely to increase the chances of locating his family.
