Death has struck the Bampoe Addo family twice in quick succession, following the passing of Okoe Bampoe Addo, twin brother of the late Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo, former Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG).
Okoe Bampoe Addo, aged 59, died on Monday, September 14, 2026 — barely weeks after losing his twin brother.
The two deceased brothers were biological brothers of Deputy Chief of Staff, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo.
The family is now grappling with the devastating loss of both siblings within a matter of weeks.
Prior to his death, family, friends and public officials had gathered at Winners Chapel International in the North Industrial Area, Accra, on August 28 for a remembrance service in honour of Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo.
The ceremony was held to celebrate the life and legacy of the former CLOGSAG Executive Secretary, remembered for his distinguished service to civil and local government staff in Ghana.
Details regarding the burial arrangements for Mr Okoe Bampoe Addo are yet to be announced by the family.
