A family of six perished at Esereso Adagya in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region when they were washed away by flood waters. The victims were trapped in a saloon car that was carried away by the rapid flood. All the six were members of Jehovah Witnesses who had closed from working on a church building and were returning home. They included a man, his wife, two children and two other relatives. The losses were attributed to trade malpractices that were orchestrated by government agencies and big firms during the clearing of goods at the country’s ports.
