Two years after the building that houses the male inmates of New Life Nungua Children’s Home got burnt, efforts by the authorities to put up a new building for them has delayed due to lack of funds. As a result, the male inmates are using only two single room apartment which was rented by the authorities nearby leading to overcrowding. The Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Nkansah Boadu, has organized a New Year party for the aged in the Wiamoase community and its environs. Over 600 elderly women, drawn from Wiamoase, Bipoa, Agric Nzema area were treated to both traditional and gospel music, and provided with assorted food and drinks. A 33-year-old  outsourced worker of Stanbic Bank Ghana has been declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly defrauding scores of customers of the bank of more than GHc 900,000. The suspect, Martha Amakye, who is said to be an outsourced worker from Noswall Management Service, a recruitment agency, absconded after the Financial Crime Control Unit of the bank found out she was involved in some fraudulent transactions.
