The Agona Kwanyako Traditional Area in Ghana’s Central Region witnessed an epochal renaissance today as the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress was formally and traditionally enstooled as Nkosuohene of the Area.
In a decisive departure from ceremonial honorifics, the Traditional Council has proclaimed this chieftaincy a permanent stool. The definitive resolution secures the title of Nkosuohene within the enstooled leader’s lineage in perpetuity, indelibly binding his bloodline to the stewardship and advancement of Agona Kwanyako.

Assuming the regal stool name Nana Asiedu K3T3K3, the solemn installation unfolded today at the Agona Kwanyako Durbar Grounds amidst pageantry and ancestral rites.
The distinguished honour, conferred by the traditional authorities of Agona Kwanyako, pays tribute to the Central Regional NDC Chairman’s unwavering commitment to communal transformation, particularly in political mobilization, educational upliftment, and infrastructural development.
He has long been lauded for his “exceptional generosity, leadership, and commitment to the community.”

At earlier proceedings, Nana Asare Panyin IV, Omankrado of Agona Kwanyako, declared: “You have not only made yourself proud but the entire people of Agona Kwanyako. We salute you. However, we hope that you will work to leave an indelible mark on Agonaman.”
The Chairman is equally revered for his role as a unifier and conciliator, having fostered dialogue and cohesion within the constituency and earned acclaim as a bridge-builder dedicated to the stability and progress of Agona Kwanyako.
In an exclusive interview, the newly enstooled leader urged the youth to anchor their aspirations in education and resolute industry:

“We all received our education here. We did not go to school in heaven, but with determination and perseverance, you will surely make it in life.”
The ceremony was a resplendent tapestry of Agona heritage and prestige. It was presided over by HRM Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Board Chairman of the Water Resources Commission, with Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, gracing the occasion as Guest of Honour.
