Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo has been named Technical Aide to the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a move aimed at fortifying the administration’s public messaging and information architecture.
According to an official appointment letter dated October 3, 2025, Ashinyo will serve directly under and report to the Minister for Government Communications. The appointment forms part of a broader initiative to sharpen the coherence, reach, and credibility of government communications.
“Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo will work under and report directly to the Minister for Government Communications, as part of efforts to strengthen government messaging and public information dissemination,” the letter stated.
Ashinyo’s mandate encompasses providing technical counsel and strategic support on matters pertaining to government communications and the flow of information. Her portfolio will also include conducting rigorous research into communication trends, media strategies, and emerging digital platforms to bolster government messaging across both traditional and digital channels.
The President further charged her to “monitor and evaluate public feedback on government communication initiatives and make recommendations to improve engagement and clarity.”
“You are also required to liaise with government agencies, media houses, civil society, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective information flow,” the letter added.
