Ketu South New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairman hopeful, Obed Yao Alaglo, has intensified his engagement with party delegates, outlining a bold vision centered on accountability, unity, organizational growth, and improved welfare for party members.
Addressing delegates during a series of consultations across the constituency, Obed Yao Alaglo emphasized that accountability must remain the cornerstone of effective party leadership. He pledged to operate an open and transparent administration that keeps delegates and party members informed about the activities, finances, and decisions of the constituency executive.
According to him, regular consultations, financial transparency, and continuous engagement with polling station executives and electoral area coordinators will help strengthen trust and unity within the party. He noted that every member deserves to have a voice in the affairs of the constituency and promised to ensure that leadership remains accessible and responsive.
As part of his development agenda, Obed Yao Alaglo announced plans to mobilize resources for the construction of a modern constituency party office at Viepe Torkor. He explained that the proposed office would serve as a permanent administrative center for meetings, training programmes, strategic planning, and party activities. He believes that a well-equipped office will enhance coordination and strengthen the party’s presence within the constituency.
Recognizing the transportation challenges faced by delegates and party executives, the aspiring Chairman pledged to work towards acquiring a new constituency mini bus, explaining that the vehicle would support delegates during official party functions, constituency engagements, regional meetings, and campaign activities, thereby improving the welfare and mobility of party members.
Another key pillar of his vision is creating greater opportunities for party members. He promised to work closely with the party leadership, government institutions, and stakeholders to secure employment slots, training opportunities, scholarships, national appointments, and other interventions for hardworking and loyal party members. He stressed that opportunities should be distributed fairly and transparently, ensuring that dedicated members benefit from the party’s successes.
Obed Yao Alaglo further called on delegates to remain united and focused on rebuilding the party ahead of future elections. He reaffirmed his commitment to servant leadership, inclusiveness, discipline, and teamwork, noting that only a united party can achieve lasting electoral success in the Ketu South Constituency.
