Question from other Camp:This is why I say that Julius Debrah can’t and should not lead NDC in 2028 if Npp criminals like Okoe-boye are endorsing him.
The truth will always come to light.. They keep satisfying Npp people whilst footsoldiers struggle with life.
Answer:Bro the NDC doesn’t pick its leader based on who NPP people like or dislike. We pick leaders based on competence, loyalty to the party’s values, and capacity to win power for the grassroots. Julius Debrah has served this party with distinction from Eastern Region to Chief of Staff without scandal. If NPP voices fear him, that’s not endorsement. That’s recognition. And while we fix the economy H.E. Mahama inherited, every appointee’s job is to serve all Ghanaians, not just party colors.
Let’s stick to facts. Julius Debrah is not “satisfying NPP people”. He’s doing the job of Chief of Staff: running government business for all 30 million Ghanaians. That’s what we criticized the NPP for failing to do.
Under his watch at the Presidency, we’re seeing responsiveness, access, and coordination we lacked for 8 years. If some NDC members comment on his work, that’s their business. Since when did we let the NPP choose our flagbearer? The same footsoldiers struggling today will struggle more if we enter 2028 divided by propaganda. Debrah has walked with the base for decades. The truth has come to light: he’s a unifier, not a sellout.
So now NPP praise is the test of loyalty? By that logic, anyone they insult should lead us? Comrades, let’s be serious. Julius Debrah didn’t rise by NPP endorsement.
He rose through the ranks Regional Chairman, Minister, Chief of Staff while some of us were still learning politics.
Governing means you deal with chiefs, CEOs, even opponents. That’s not “satisfying NPP”. That’s statecraft. The footsoldier agenda is jobs, dignity, and victory in 2028. You don’t get that by eating your own. If NPP is scared of Debrah, good. That means he can win.
Question: JM government has disappointed the grassroots so it will be grave mistake to elect anyone who’s leadership is tethered to this government to lead NDC in 2028.
JM dominance in NDC should be broken.
Answer: Disappointed? Let’s talk facts. The JM government inherited an economy in intensive care couple with debt, inflation, collapsed currency from 8 years of NPP.
In just over a year, we’ve stabilized the cedi, restarted critical road projects, paid nursing trainee allowances, and restored dignity to governance. That’s not disappointment. That’s recovery.
And “tethered to this government” is exactly the point. You don’t win 2028 by cutting off your most experienced hands. You win with continuity that protects the gains grassroots are starting to feel.
Breaking JM’s dominance isn’t strategy. It’s sabotage. The NPP is praying we turn on ourselves. We won’t. NDC wins when we consolidate, not when we self-destruct.
Comrades, elections are not won on anger alone. They’re won on numbers, structure, and a candidate who can unite regions and expand our base.
JM remains the most marketed, most trusted NDC brand from bole to Cape Coast and everywhere , Every poll shows it.
To say we should reject anyone linked to this government is to reject every minister, appointee, and MP working 18-hour days to clean NPP’s mess. That’s how you demoralize the grassroots. The same grassroots we need to knock on doors in 2028.
If we “break dominance,” who replaces it? Fragmentation. And fragmentation is how NPP gets back in. The mission is power for the people, not power struggles in the party.
So after 8 years of NPP suffering, our plan is to fight the very government fixing it? Be serious Joe.
Which grassroots has this government disappointed , the teachers getting posted, the contractors being paid, or the youth seeing the 24-hour economy framework? The pain people feel today is NPP’s legacy. JM’s government is the medicine.
And let’s stop pretending “dominance” is a bad word. Dominance is what wins elections. Rawlings dominated. Kufuor dominated. Dominance means control, discipline, and direction. Break it, and you break NDC’s spine before 2028.
Anyone who worked to rescue Ghana under JM has earned the right to lead. We don’t discard generals in the middle of war.
Question: Mahama is Julius Debrah, the team of ” father for All” nobody will accept that again. Military like hand to change the trend of governance in Ghana.
This administration is not fighting corruption enough to my liking, not to talk about galamsey etc .
Asiedu Nketia is the only person am seeing for now, who can do the job .
Answer: “Father for all” is not a weakness but rather it’s constitutional. The Chief of Staff and President govern for 30 million Ghanaians, not just NDC. That’s what we begged NPP to understand for 8 years.
And let’s be honest about corruption and galamsey: This administration met state capture, not just corruption. In 16 months we’ve set up ORAL, started prosecutions, retrieved looted assets, and deployed military task forces to forest reserves.
Galamsey didn’t start in 2025. It was industrialized under NPP. You don’t reverse 8 years of rot with a magic wand.
*Military-style governance? We saw that movie under Akufo-Addo’s intimidation of citizens. Ghana needs firm, lawful leadership, not populist strongman vibes. *Julius Debrah* runs a disciplined, responsive Presidency that’s delivering results without drama. Asiedu Nketia is a warrior for the party but running government takes different machinery.JM + Debrah is that machinery. Don’t mistake calm for weakness.
Comrades, “Mahama is Julius Debrah” should be a compliment. It means alignment. It means no turf wars at the top. It means the President and his Chief of Staff are executing one agenda and rescuing Ghana.
Saying “nobody will accept that again” is NPP’s prayer. They want NDC divided. They want us to discard our most experienced, most trusted ticket so they can sneak back in 2028.
Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito is fearless, loyal, unmatched as National Chairman. But Presidency is a different battlefield. It needs international credibility, economic management, and a coalition that wins Ashanti, Central, and Volta. That’s JM’s lane. Debrah complements it with operational command.
If we want to “change the trend of governance,” start by keeping the team that’s actually changing it. Breaking it now helps only one party NPP.
So we want “military hand” after we condemned NPP for lawless soldiers beating citizens? Be consistent.
Corruption fight: Who set up ORAL? Who is prosecuting past ministers? Who stopped the 1.2bn cedis in shady payments last quarter?
That’s JM’s team. That’s Debrah running the shop. Galamsey: Ask the chiefs in Eastern and Western Region who’s reclaiming their rivers right now. It’s not talk , it’s boots on the ground.
Asiedu Nketia for President? Much respect to the General. But Presidency is not a party rally. You need to win independents, business, diplomatic community, and still keep the base. JM already has that mix. Debrah is the engine room making sure the Presidency doesn’t collapse under sabotage.
“Father for all” won us 2024. “Father for some” is how you lose 2028. Choose.
Question: The NDC at this moment needs someone who has the grassroots at heart and understand their pains and struggles….
Party first before any other matter.
Answer: And who told you Julius doesn’t hav the grassroots at heart.Election 2028 is Not about someone who has the base but rather Someone who has the broad National appeal
