In a gesture underscoring the high esteem in which the family is held, a distinguished delegation from the Office of the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, represented Her Excellency at the solemn one-week observance for the late Okyeame Kwabena Ofosu Ampofo.
The delegation, assembled to convey the Vice President’s personal condolences and solidarity, comprised senior officials from her office.
Leading the team was Mrs. Alberta Yaa Graham, Head of Administration, alongside Prof. Theresah P. Ennin, Special Aide to Her Excellency the Vice President, Maame Ama Pratt – Press Secretary and Spokesperson for the Vice President. Also in attendance were Musa Abdulai, Presidential Staffer, and Dr. Miriam Iddrisu, Policy Adviser for the Social Sector, accompanied by other dedicated staff members of the Vice President’s office.
Their presence reflected the NDC administration’s commitment to standing with citizens in moments of both public duty and private grief.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, a senior member remarked, “Her Excellency sent us not merely as representatives of office, but as bearers of empathy and respect for a life that served family and community with unwavering dignity.”
The delegation’s participation added weight to the gathering, reaffirming the bonds of statesmanship and shared humanity that transcend the corridors of power.
