Below is the statement
Our hearts are burdened as we stand with the Methodist Family at the Ashaiman North Circuit in this painful moment, after the tragic loss of six precious souls who were journeying to Kumasi to mourn with a bereaved member a week ago.
In a moment when they set out to share love and compassion, sorrow has visited their own household. Yet even in this deep grief, we hold on to the assurance that God remains our refuge and strength.
May the Lord grant comfort to every grieving heart, strengthen the Circuit, and surround the families with His unfailing peace. We mourn together, we pray together, and we trust that His grace will carry us through.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” – Psalm 46:1
