In a strategic move to strengthen collaboration and support Ghana’s industrial and energy development agenda, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Company Limited (GNGLC), Ms. Judith Adjoba Blay, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ghana Free Zones Authority(GFZA), headed by Dr Mary Awusi.
Discussions during the visit underscored the critical role of natural gas infrastructure in driving industrialization and supporting economic growth within Ghana’s Free Zones enclaves.
Ghana Gas currently operates Natural Gas Transmission Pipelines within the Tema Export Processing Zone and the Sekondi Industrial Park, facilitating the transportation and supply of natural gas for power generation and industrial use.
The discussions also explored opportunities to deepen cooperation to enhance energy reliability, support existing and prospective industries within the Free Zones Industrial Enclaves, and advance future infrastructure development initiatives.
The engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of the state institutions to building strategic partnerships that will contribute to increased industrial productivity, energy security, and sustainable economic growth for Ghana.
