Chief of Staff, Dr Julius Debrah marked his 60th milestone with an exemplary display of altruism, donating an array of essential supplies to the Village of Hope in a deliberate endeavor to fortify support for vulnerable children.
The consignment encompassing food provisions, toiletries, and other indispensable necessities is anticipated to alleviate the logistical burdens of the orphanage while substantially elevating the wellbeing and dignity of the children under its guardianship.
The gesture epitomizes Dr. Debrah’s resolute dedication to social stewardship and grassroots empowerment.
The donation was conveyed on his behalf by Marrieta Brew Appiah-Opong, Legal Advisor to the President John Dramami Mahama, who spearheaded a distinguished delegation comprising senior government officials and leading figures of the National Democratic Congress.
The delegation included Dr. Richard Kofi Asiedu, the party’s Central Regional Chairman, and Mike Derry, Regional Organiser.
The ceremony was further ennobled by the presence of Francis-Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina, whose attendance bore profound personal resonance. Having spent part of his formative years at the Village of Hope, Mr. Sosu participated in presenting the items, offering an eloquent testament to the institution’s life-changing influence.
In remarks delivered for the Chief of Staff, Ms. Brew Appiah-Opong affirmed that the intervention was inspired by “genuine compassion and a desire to make a meaningful difference.”
