Accra — The boardroom is about to give way to the playing field as the Citi Business Olympics 2026 returns on Saturday, September 26, bringing together businesses and corporate teams for a day of sport, wellness, teamwork, leadership, networking and fun.
The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. at the Eden Heights Sports Complex, Weija, and is powered by 97.3 Citi FM, with support from Channel One TV.
Built around the belief that wellness is the foundation of a healthy, productive and successful team, the Citi Business Olympics provides companies with an opportunity to step away from the demands of the office, reconnect with colleagues and demonstrate the same qualities that drive success in business—strategy, discipline, collaboration, resilience and leadership.

The 2026 Olympics will also serve as the climax of the Healthy Living Project, the month-long wellness campaign by Citi FM and Channel One TV under the theme “Changing Habits. Transforming Lives.”
Throughout September, the campaign has encouraged healthier eating, physical activity, stress management and sustainable lifestyle choices.

The line-up includes 7-Aside Football; Volleyball for Men and Women; Men’s Basketball; Lime & Spoon for Men and Women; Arm Wrestling for Men and Women; Lawn Tennis for Men and Women; Sack Race for Men and Women; Tug of War for Men and Women; Draught; Chess; Scrabble; Swimming for Men and Women; and the CEOs Challenge.
The variety means participants can compete according to their strengths—whether that is speed, strength, endurance, precision, intelligence or teamwork.
CEOs TAKE THE CHALLENGE
One of the day’s biggest attractions will be the CEOs Challenge, which will see corporate leaders step out of their boardrooms and into the competitive arena.
