The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno has promoted seven police officers to their next ranks in recognition of their excellent performance and bravery in arresting suspects in the Adabraka gold robbery case.
The beneficiaries comprise one Senior Police Officer (SPO) and six other ranks, all of whom have been elevated to the next rank for their professionalism, dedication, and effective operational and investigative work.
The officers played a key role in the arrest of suspects linked to the Adabraka gold robbery incident, demonstrating commitment and courage in the discharge of their duties.
The IGP commended the officers for their exemplary performance and contribution to the fight against crime, describing their actions as worthy of recognition.
The promotion is expected to serve as an incentive for other personnel to continue demonstrating professionalism, vigilance, and dedication in protecting lives and property.
