This document is from UN archives. And it is in compliance to its Resolution 1044(XI) of 13 December 1956 that mandated Britain to create a UNION between its Togoland Trust Territory(British Togoland) and Ghana at the latter’s independence.
Observers will clearly note here on Ghana’s independence day of March 6,1957, the then colonial Governor who sent this telegram, clearly admitted two separate entities, and that he pointed out clearly that this UN Trust Territory, WAS NOT part of the territorires that became an independent Ghana.
Since this telegram was intended to mislead, and did mislead the UN to server its Agreement with Britain as its Caretaker, and since there is no record of a legal UNION between the two nations, HOW and WHEN did British Togoland become part of Ghana, and by which its freedom fighters have been considered as secessionists and have been so unlawfullyand brutely treated over 69 years now? TRUTH DEMANDS RESPONSIBILITY. DO YOU HAVE THE COURAGE AND CONVICTION FOR IT?
